The purpose of the ISRS 2012 ICSANE 2012 is to promote remote sensing and space electronics technologies in East Asian region. This joint symposium is co-organized by the Korean Society of Remote Sensing (KSRS), Chinese (Taipei) Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (CSPRS), Remote Sensing Society of Japan (RSSJ), Technical Committee on Space, Aeronautical and Navigation Electronics of IEICE, and Standing Committee of Environmental Monitoring from Space of East Asia (EMSEA). The ISRS has been held in S. KOREA since 1994 by a Korea-Japan cooperation program and it is now being expanded to a regional conference to cover diverse disciplinary of aerospace remote sensing technologies and applications in East Asia.
